Summary
I am Adesayo Osipitan, the founder of Glazes and Ganache. A bakery and dessert bar rooted in passion, creativity, and love for the craft.
My career journey which started off as a chartered accountant, took a turn when I discovered my skill in baking.
The Journey
the vision
I thought to venture into catering full time, I decided to apply to a culinary school, and that was the start of one of the best decision I ever made, I discovered patisserie. The precision, the beauty, the artistry. Every dessert told a story, and I knew I had found mine. Choosing culinary school over a master’s degree wasn’t the conventional path, but it was the right one, and I knew I was walking in purpose.
The Dream
Glazes and Ganache began in my home kitchen. As demand grew, I turned my then house into a full, functioning bakery. The aroma of freshly baked goods attracted people into the bakery, it was time to move into a bigger space. On the 9th of April 2023, we officially launched our treat store.
Today, Glazes has grown into a full service dessert bar, known for nostalgic pastries, handcrafted bagels, bubble tea, and indulgent treats made with care and intention. Every item we serve carries a memory, from my first bagel sandwich shared on vacation with a friend, to the bubble tea sipped during a quiet moment with another friend, and even warm recollections of pastries from the unbeatable restaurants in my childhood days.
At Glazes and Ganache, we don’t just serve desserts. We serve stories, shared moments, and a taste of something unforgettable. We ensure that the love we put into baking, is felt with every bite taken from our pastries. And we love that our customers have become our best storytellers, by spreading the word more powerfully than any billboard could.
This is more than a bakery. It’s a reflection of passion, heartfelt love and purpose.
